Louth in Lincolnshire lies on the Meridian line. To celebrate the millennium, Laurence Edwards and Les Bicknell were commissioned to place three bronze figures along the path of the line through the town. They manipulated a steel line with text embossed on it. These text lines were set in pavements and footpaths, to be grappled with and contemplated by the figures.  The project was completed in 2002.
